AYRS INDEX
This index covers all past published issues of the Amateur Yacht Research Society, whether still in print or not. It contains reference to articles, authors, boats, and experiments from the AYRS's inception in 1955, up to the currently most recent publication, number 122, in 1997. This index was created and compiled by Fiona Sinclair (Correspondence address temporarily unavailable - try later).
The index is profusely cross referenced. For instance, articles pertaining
to Dr. James Grogono's hydrofoil catamaran Icarus may be found in Chapters
6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
Please note: Once you have gone to a chapter you are interested in, you may use your browser's "Find" function to search within that chapter.
Note: The articles indexed herein are not yet available on-line. All of them are copyright to their own author.
Those people who want photocopies of single articles for their own use (under Section 29 of UK Copyright Act) may obtain them from Fiona's Finding Service at a cost of photocopying and postage only. Contact e-mail to:fnsnclr@gmail.com
Those who want to purchase publications which are still in print can obtain them from AYRS, see Unofficial AYRS page for details. AYRS's pricing policy is subject to frequent changes.
A cheaper source, especially for those paying in dollars, is Multihulls magazine.
Articles from all publications (in-print or out-of-print) can always be obtained from Fiona's Finding Service or through a research library. (Note for those needing inter-library loan: Cambridge University Library has a full set).
