Bi-Planche

James Harvey with "Bi-Planche", a catamaran made from two conventional sailboards with a bridge. It was originally designed by James as a school project when he was 18.

It can carry a disabled sailor in a wheelchair, or an instructor with a beginner. James says that he has had a blind grandmother with a guide dog sailing it - I don't know if that was true, but it certainly looks possible.

James has also been experimenting with a hydrofoil version.
